Here I plan on using this page for my pictures.  It will act as my photo album during my stay here.  The pictures you will see appear as thumbnails, and if clicked on will open a bigger size of the picture.  I hope you enjoy the pictures I have taken and put up here.  To see a brief description of a photo, scroll on to the thumbnail of interest and a little box will appear.

Australian countryside   Australian Countryside with storm  Eastern Beach Palms   Geelong Biotanical Gardens

An original Palm Tree at Eastern Beach  Me standing at the beach with some cool Life Guards  Countryside with cows along side of road  Mt Buninyong is a rather tall mountain in Ballarat, Vic. The actual height of this mountain is 719 meters (2451 ft.)

A very nice picture of me standing near the ocean. In the background there are a bunch of surfers.  The ocean sure looked nice when the sun was out.    Here I took a great picture displaying the Pacific Ocean as it meets Australia

I couldn't pass taking this picture. Somehow they were able to support this house. Just imagine the view they must have of the ocean.  Just another picture of me at the beach.  Sure was a cold day even though the sun looks warm.

Australian rain forest with many ferns. We took this little road and saw nothing but trees everywhere.      Along the road we came across these sheep with outstanding hill climbing.

If you have time I recommend you click to open a bigger picture. I had to keep this picture at full size to be able to read the text. The picture however does take awhile to load.      What a beautiful sight this was. I am so glad it turned out so well on camera. Plus the sun was nice and came out for a bit.

The Twelve Apostles. Here five of them are visible, and behind me there are some more. But the Australians say at one time there used to be 12, now there are less. These huge formations once used to be part of Australia many many years ago.    This is how I have always pictured Australia with the huge drop offs like this. What I enjoy the most is watching the ocean smacking against the wall of rock.  This is a beauty. Dad took a great picture here and also you can see the other part of the Twelve Apostles.

This is a great shot of the ocean smacking up against the side of Australia. What an excitement it was to hear the water as it ran into the huge wall of rock.

I recommend you take a look at this picture and read the story about a shipwreck. I again had to keep this picture at full size to make easier to read. So it might take a bit to load but sure is worth it.  Sure is a close up of me, but the back ground shot is cool, I couldn't pass adding this to my photo album here.    Another example on powerful the ocean can be. Just imagine what it would feel like being smacked that hard by a huge wave. Ouch!!  While down on sea level, we were able to discover some cool things. Here is cave like formations developing out of the side of the rock.

The sun once more hasn't made up his mind yet to stay out or go away. While the sun was out though dad snapped a pretty good picture of me.  Certainly was easy to get on this rock but how did I ever get off? Lol As you can see at the moment there is water all around me, but after a short time it went back into the ocean. I was able to walk right off just as I did when I got on the rock.  There sure is one nice thing about when it rains, and that is the beautiful rainbow that is created. For my very first time I actually got to see where the rainbow started and ended.

This may to you look like it is snowing, but actually what happened was that it was raining. When I took the picture of the ocean at night the flash went off and it caught the rain drops as it was raining. I thought this was pretty cool.    This is the bay which comes into Geelong.      At the end of that pier is a huge all you can eat buffet. I haven't been there yet, but we plan on going soon. On the weekends they get real busy.

I love this picture. It looks as if I am in Florida. I am still amazed of all the palm tree here and I am in one of the most southern cities in the world.    On October 26, we all visited Stephy's brothers house near Melbourne. He has a very nice house and takes very good care of his yard.

This is a view from the second floor balcony. He has a very nice yard, one that you could look at for awhile. The yards people have over here are very much different than back at home.  These are some pictures that I took while along The Great Ocean Rd. It was a nice day out so we went out looking for things to film and take pictures of.
