During the beginning of December, I won a pair of NFL tickets to go see the Colts in action on Dec. 23 against the New York Jets. I happened to win these tickets from listening to the radio and knowing there was a drawing the area. I got there about twenty minutes before the drawing and put my name in, and by some great amount of luck, my name was drawn. A wonderful time I had towards the end of December was being able to spend Christmas home in Michigan with my mom. Then also in South Bend with Rachel's family, and finally back in Bloomington with just Rachel and I. By the way the Colts did lose 29-28, but we still had a nice time.
The Colts played a pretty good game, but no matter what they tried the Jets were the stronger warrior. Here the Colts score, but the Jets were crowned the winner after the final buzzer.
At this moment all the stores around town must of been searching for their Santa Clause. The Colts had the best Christmas Halftime show that I have ever seen. They had Elves, girls in candy cane outfits, and the very popular Santa Clause. This show really put the holiday spirit in to us. Mostly because there was enough Santa Clauses there for all the kids to take one home.
I was amazed to see that when we got to the stadium there were all these Indianapolis Colts people handing out to everyone blue and white Santa Hats. At first we got only two, but while inside I noticed a guy walking with his hands full of these Santa hats. This made me wonder, so I went outside and talked to someone, and right away he was like take a box or two. Well I didn't have the hands to carry them all, but did get around 5 or so. After the game we gave Rachel's brother and sister one, and my mom also got one too. What a great time we had.
Christmas with Rachel at her place. Rachel got me some cologne, a new Old Navy Fleece, a long-sleeve shirt from Old Navy, some white T-shirts, and a few other things. I got her a new Watch, sterling silver Necklace with a cross, and a heart with diamonds on it. We had again another wonderful Christmas together.
